Overview
Work as an integral part of our IT and Telecom operations for on-site ISP/OSP installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of communications equipment and peripheral equipment such as network wireless access points and security appliances.
Responsibilities- Install equipment, fiber and copper cable for end-to-end connectivity.
- Install ducts and conduits, pull cables, and terminate, test, and repair interior and exterior copper, coaxial, and fiber optic cabling.
- Generate rack elevations, floor layouts, and connection detail drawings for multiple and varied spaces. Rack and stack equipment as specified in design drawings. Redline drawings as required.
- Install, fusion splice, label and test fiber optic cable.
- Install, terminate, label and test shielded and unshielded cabling.
- Install fiber optic transceivers.
- Install complete data center infrastructure (racks, PDU, CAT6, SM/MM Fiber, patch panels, and labeling).
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide support.
- Travel TDY to Guam, Australia and other areas in the PAC RIM area.
- Korea travel — active final secret clearance is required and must be maintained for employment.
- Passport US.
- AAA International Driving Permit.
