POSITION SUMMARYThe maintenance person is responsible for the maintenance of industrial type of equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO- Perform grounds-keeping and building maintenance duties.
- Perform routine maintenance duties such as greasing machinery, performing routine measurements of equipment, changing lighting fixtures and bulbs.
- Painting.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment.
- Operate machinery, work from heights, climbing ladders.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination and endurance. Must also be able to concentrate on their tasks. The ability to understand and communicate information is also essential.
EDUCATION- High School Diploma or GED.
