Salary Range: $25.00 To $35.00 Hourly
General Description:
Performs skilled work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of marine engines, marine machinery, and related equipment. Performs other tasks as assigned.
- Performs major and specialized mechanical overhaul and repair work on gasoline and diesel marine engines, outboard motors, and related marine equipment and systems using schematic charts and technical manuals.
- Establish and execute a preventive maintenance program for all fleet marine engines.
- Inspect and test marine engines and equipment according to manufacturer specifications to determine need for repairs or adjustments.
- Document inspection and test results and work performed or to be performed.
- Email viewing, composing, and sending ability preferred
- Boat Handling and Maintenance capabilities preferred
- Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize to meet deadlines
- Must be flexible in work hours, on call as needed.
- Verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Good attitude; must be a team player.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Daily schedule will be approximately Monday – Thursday and on Friday, but Navatek Boat Builders reserves the right to adjust shifts and times as business needs arise.
Education:
- Must have high school diploma or GED
Experience:
- Minimum of one year experience working on gasoline and diesel engines.
