• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Provide orientation and on‑the‑job training.
• Understand and give written instructions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

• Perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) accurately and quickly; calculator may be used.
• Make correct monetary change.
• Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Coordinate motor actions to make precise movements with speed.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigate a delivery area map to locate addresses.
• Manage adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas.
• Sudden temperature changes, fumes from food odors, and cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

• Talking and hearing on telephone.
• Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
• Depth perception and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Far vision and night vision for driving.

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, and have access to an insured vehicle for delivery. Requires navigation skills for reading a map and locating addresses within a designated delivery area, as well as the ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings.

Most tasks are performed from a standing position on ceramic tile “bricks” or linoleum. Walking distances are short and for short durations. Delivery personnel travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the vehicle to the customer’s location. Paperwork is normally completed at a desk or table. Bulk product deliveries involve unloading with a hand truck and may include items up to 50 pounds.

Lifting bulk product deliveries, carrying large cans, pizza sauce, and trays of pizza dough requires repeated lifting, bending, stooping, and reaching motions. Push and pull actions are performed on dollies, and climbing stairs or ladders may be necessary. Walking through delivery trips involves navigating flights of stairs up to five or more flights.

Driving duties include delivering pizzas within a designated delivery area, delivering flyers and door hangers, and requiring an insured vehicle with a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
