Overview

The OCH dental team works closely with our medical and behavioral health providers to put patient physical, mental, emotional and social well‑being at the center of patient care.
ResponsibilitiesThe Dental Sterilization Assistant is an entry‑level position with potential for career growth while working on the job! This position works with the Dental Supervisor to ensure effective infection control required for dental instrument maintenance and sterilization. Functions will include opening/closing the dental clinic, set up and disinfection of operatories, handpiece and instrument sterilization and maintenance, weekly and monthly maintenance duties, set up of dental trays, assist with supply stocking/inventory and periodontal probing.
Minimum Qualifications- At least one (1) year of customer service experience.
- Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple activities and tasks.
- Successful relationship management skills involving multidisciplinary teams in a diverse, multicultural environment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current CPR/BLS Certification in accordance with OCH policy.
- Successful completion of credentialing and privileging in accordance with OCH policy.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Medical Interpreter Qualified or open to obtaining.
- Experience in a health‑related setting.
- Understand and work with HRSA requirements and expectations.
- State Radiology Certification (or will obtain within 12 months of hire).
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting.

- Bilingual Differential:
Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish. - Milage Reimbursement:
