Spa Remedease is looking for a talented Licensed Massage Therapist to join our Spa team! As Hood River's premier luxury day spa, we strive to provide the ultimate in pampering and relaxation to our guests, and seek an individual who shares in that vision. We have part‑time and full‑time work available, according to schedules and preferences.
Position SummaryOur mission:
To deliver massage and body treatments according to protocols, rituals, and licensing requirements, guaranteeing the guest the ultimate spa experience. Massage therapists must portray a professional self‑image and master treatment/product technical knowledge and skills. Educate clients on self‑care techniques and strategies to support their journey in health.
- Ability to perform all massage, body and applicable add‑on treatments offered on the menu according to Spa Remedease protocols. Training offered for additional treatments and modalities.
- Invest in continuing self‑education to ensure growth.
- Interact cooperatively with other spa team members to provide a seamless guest experience.
- Discover guests’ needs and make appropriate ongoing treatment and home‑care recommendations.
- Present warm, gracious, and professional persona toward guests and co‑workers.
- Adhere to a high professional image standard in dress, appearance, language, and lifestyle.
- Practice the highest standard of sanitation, neatness, and visual presentation.
- Actively build repeat clientele.
- Maintain treatment suite and prep room neat and stocked at all times.
- Attend and participate in periodic team meetings.
- Attend all in‑house training and commit to continuing education.
- Check and respond to email communication regularly.
- When asked, evaluate potential new team members for various positions.
- Adhere to work schedule and have good work ethics.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
- Valid Oregon LMT license.
- Specialized skills and knowledge of facial and body protocols, aromatherapy, and proficiency in multiple massage modalities.
- Guest service oriented with the ability to deliver the ultimate treatment experience.
- Passion for continuing education and holistic health.
- A professional work ethic and image.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $62.00 per hour
Schedule- Up to an 8‑hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekends preferred
- Commission pay
