This role balances high-level operational strategy with hands-on leadership across guest services, rooms, spa/wellness facilities, events, and food & beverage outlets.

Core Responsibilities
  • Direct hotel operations across all guest-facing departments, enforce brand standards, and maintain high scores for cleanliness, safety, and service quality. Monitor guest feedback and online reviews to maintain top property ratings.
  • Provide active on-the-floor coaching, continuous constructive feedback, and professional development to build an engaged, high-performing team and cultivate future leaders.

  • Review property P&L statements with the GM, manage labor standards, and prepare operational budgets. Oversee administrative finance tasks including invoice coding, vendor payments, transaction logs, and commission tracking.
  • Recruit, mentor, and evaluate staff across hotel departments. Design cross-trained labor schedules based on hotel occupancy and guest traffic to control costs effectively.
  • Support hotel sales initiatives to drive occupancy and Average Daily Rate (ADR). Coach teams to upsell rooms, packages, spa treatments, and amenities, while participating in local community outreach.
  • Direct standard operating procedures, food safety, inventory par levels, and purchasing across hotel food and beverage venues. Collaborate on event execution, menu updates, and vendor contract negotiations.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 3-5 years of hotel or hospitality management experience. Must have 4–5 years of experience in operational ordering and team leadership.
  • Track record of driving team performance, financial accountability (P&L, budgets, inventory), and detail-oriented operational execution.
  • High school diploma/GED preferred. Proficient in business software (spreadsheets, word processing, email) and operational math (ratios, percentages, budgeting calculations). Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Spanish-speaking a plus
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods across all hotel grounds, guest rooms, spa areas, food outlets, and event spaces throughout entire shifts.
