Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Lightwell Hotel + Spa. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong work ethic. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to recipes and quality standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work station and following all food safety guidelines.

Full and part-time shifts available.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
• Cook items using various methods such as grilling, frying, and following standardized recipes and quality guidelines
• Prepare and organize ingredients and supplies for the station before and during service
• Keep the cooking area clean, sanitize surfaces and equipment, and adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Perform inventory checks, complete storage logs, and report any stock needs
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient service

• Prior experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must be able to understand instructions in English
