Maintenance Lead. The job holder liaises with operational personnel to ensure a planned and co‑ordinated approach and the effective deployment of maintenance and inspection resources within GMA with particular focus on NUI activities. Planning timescales are daily, weekly and monthly and priorities need integrating across the operation. They must ensure that procedures are developed and adhered to, ensuring safe and effective execution of tasks and control within the permit system, in an inherently hazardous environment where work involves a range of hazardous chemicals, high pressures and high voltage equipment.

MUST HAVE OFFSHORE CERTIFICATION AND NUI OIM CERTIFICATION

• In role, you will be accountable for:
  Primary role is to ensure effective work management on the NUI installations (Chiswick and Grove) whilst adhering to relevant legislative and company requirements
• Attend offshore and act as job supervisor during larger equipment outages
• Ensure priority work is prepared and controlled in accordance with Company Policy and that the plan is managed to accommodate these priorities and deliver maintenance compliance, backlog and deferral KPI's
• As required, support the offshore team with performing deferrals (Risk Assessments) and ensuring appropriate mitigations are in place
• Support the onshore team by participation in execution readiness reviews of vendor scopes for execution both on J6a and the associated NUI's in accordance with 12-week discipline specific lookahead sessions
• Liaise with GMA asset planner and schedulers to agree and issue frozen schedules in support of NUI campaigns
• Liaise with the materials coordinator to ensure materials are available aligned to NUI campaigns and Vendor mobilisations gate criteria
• Audit history within the Maintenance Management System to ensure compliance with current legislation, Safety Critical Elements and the requirements of the Written Scheme of Verification
• Ensure the continuous development of Maintenance Excellence by building a culture of improvement and embedding it into day to day activities through active engagement and training
• Lead the continuous improvement of the maintenance process through support of significant failure investigations and maintenance history analysis; where necessary this will include review and revision of maintenance tasks and spares holdings
• Manage support for engineering change activities, delegating as required to provide technical and operational knowledge
• Carry out competence assurance assessment and verification activities within the GMA assets

To be successful in this role you will have an recognised training programme or apprenticeship within your discipline. You will have experience in the maintenance of a process plant and equipment to have the level of understanding and familiarisations necessary to handle the issues that will arise. A decisive leader who sets high standards and drives performance, is agile, flexible, open to challenge and able to challenge appropriately.
