Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Facility Engineer / Manager to join our team in Hoofddorp, Netherlands. In this on‑site role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our office facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and comfortable work environment for our employees.
Develop and implement comprehensive facility management strategies and policies
Oversee daily operations of office facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations
Manage and optimize building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility‑related services and projects
Develop and manage facility budgets, ensuring cost‑effective operations
Implement and monitor energy management and sustainability initiatives
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
Conduct regular facility inspections and risk assessments
Manage space planning and allocation to optimize office layout and functionality
Oversee security systems and emergency preparedness plans
Collaborate with other departments to address facility‑related needs and concerns
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management or a related role
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
Experience in budget management and cost control
Strong project, vendor management and negotiation skills
In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
Professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or LEED AP are preferred
Ability to work on‑site in Hoofddorp, Netherlands
