KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for PCS solutions aligned with company objectives and market dynamics.
Identify and capture new market opportunities by evaluating emerging technologies, trends, and the competitive landscape.
Drive business development efforts and provide technical expertise to support revenue growth.
Manage budgets, forecasts, and the financial performance of the PCS division.
Technical & Project Leadership
Lead the design, development, and deployment of PCS technologies — including converters/inverters, battery storage, hybrid solutions, and grid integration.
Oversee technical and commercial feasibility studies for new projects and ensure successful implementation.
Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Product teams to enhance system efficiency, reliability, and performance.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and sustainability requirements.
Stakeholder & People Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with utilities, project developers, regulatory bodies, and technology partners.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and specialists.
Represent the organisation in client meetings, technical discussions, and industry forums.
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Systems, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in Power Conditioning Systems, BESS, or the broader energy industry — with a proven track record in leadership roles.
Demonstrated success in business development and sales within the converter/inverter, BESS, or renewable energy sector.
Deep technical knowledge of BESS and converter/inverter functionality, power systems, and performance optimisation.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and energy storage market dynamics.
Excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English — written and spoken.
Advantageous
Previous experience at a converter/inverter manufacturer.
Experience with financial modelling and business case development for PCS or BESS projects.
Proficiency in one or more additional European languages (German, French, Spanish, Dutch, etc.).
Existing network within utilities, EPCs, or project developers in the renewable energy sector.
