About the Role

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the hands‑on management, optimisation, and performance growth of paid digital media, with primary ownership of Meta Ads and Google Ads ecosystems. This role plays a key part in driving qualified traffic, leads, and brand growth through data‑driven campaign execution and continuous optimisation across digital channels.

Key Responsibilities Digital Paid Media Management (Core Focus)
  • Plan, execute, and optimise performance‑driven campaigns across Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
  • Support full‑funnel campaign structures including prospecting, retargeting, and conversion optimisation.
  • Manage audience targeting, bidding strategies, budget allocation, and creative testing.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure channel‑specific messaging and asset effectiveness.
  • Support expansion into additional digital platforms where relevant.
Performance Optimisation & Testing
  • Monitor campaign performance and implement data‑driven optimisations.
  • Conduct A/B testing across creatives, audiences, and campaign structures.
  • Identify opportunities to scale performance and improve efficiency.
  • Track and improve key KPIs such as CPA, ROAS, CTR, and conversion rate.
Reporting & Insights
  • Prepare recurring digital performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Analyse user behaviour, funnel performance, and attribution signals.
  • Translate campaign data into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
Budget & Campaign Operations
  • Support digital media budget management, pacing, and forecasting.
  • Ensure efficient allocation of spend aligned with performance outcomes.
  • Coordinate with finance and procurement for campaign execution and payments.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment
  • Work closely with CRM, content, product, and sales teams to support campaign objectives.
  • Collaborate with platform partners and external agencies where applicable.
  • Share paid media insights and best practices internally.
Market Awareness & Innovation
  • Stay up to date with platform developments, privacy changes, and performance marketing trends.
  • Support testing of new digital formats, tools, and technologies.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in digital marketing, paid media, or performance marketing.
  • Hands‑on experience with Meta Ads and/or Google Ads campaign management.
  • Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with performance data.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English;
    Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Experience in automotive, mobility, tech, or e‑commerce is a plus.
Additional Value‑Adding Experience
  • Exposure to offline media channels such as TV, radio, or out‑of‑home (OOH).
  • Understanding of cross‑channel attribution and full‑funnel media impact.
  • Experience collaborating with media agencies or integrated campaigns.
