For one of our clients, we are looking for a Process Engineer to support commercial manufacturing operations within an advanced biopharmaceutical production environment in the Hoofddorp area.

Duration: 12 months, with potential extension

Location:

Hoofddorp area

Hybrid working available (up to 2 days remote per week after onboarding)

Responsibilities

Perform impact assessments in support of product release activities

Lead deviation investigations and conduct root cause analyses

Develop, implement, and monitor CAPAs

Write, review, and update SOPs, batch records, and GMP documentation

Manage change controls and support cGMP compliance activities

Collaborate with technical and operational stakeholders to resolve manufacturing challenges

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations

Provide technical support to ensure reliable and compliant production processes

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related discipline

Experience in cell culture, cell therapy, and/or aseptic processing

Proven experience in a cGMP-regulated environment

Experience leading investigations, managing change controls, and implementing CAPAs

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams

Solid understanding of scientific and engineering principles

Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and solution‑focused

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities
