Air Logistics Planner

Position Overview

The Air Logistics Planner (Contract role) supports Spirit Energy’s Netherlands aviation logistics coordination and management of aviation activities across the business. Held for a 6‑month contract (may be extended) and based at the Hoofddorp office with a hybrid work schedule.

  Hoofddorp office – 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
• Rate: €29–36 per hour (7.5‑hour days).

• Plan helicopter logistics and offshore point‑of‑boarding (POB) schedules.
• Schedule company and third‑party aviation resources.
• Administer internal and vendor/contractor allocations in line with departmental requests and company procedures.
• Contact vendors for planning, allocate offshore technicians to platforms and satellites cost‑effectively.
• Verify crew changes, flight allocations and propose improvements to maintain efficient scheduling.
• Register flight allocation details and confirm validity of medical and offshore training for vendors.
• Engage regularly with the Logistics and Operations teams to keep knowledge shared and flight planning current.
• Take part in daily morning calls to discuss flight schedules and POB requirements.
• Arrange hotel and taxi bookings for NUI crew overnight stays onshore.
• Participate in the on‑call duty rota to support weekend activities.
• Allocate aviation logistics costs to the correct cost centres.
• Represent the company in industry work groups (CHC Helicopter consortium, NOGEPA, ALC, etc.) and steering committees as needed.
• Provide training and functional guidance to offshore operations groups and vendors to ensure compliance with company aviation standards.
• Maintain personal and certification details in the Vantage system.

• Previous experience in a similar fast‑paced aviation logistics role.
• Strong understanding of offshore working environments.
• Proficiency in English – speaking and writing.
• Excellent skills in Excel, Outlook and spreadsheet management.
• Ability to maximise helicopter utilisation through seat and payload sharing.
• Commitment to HSE, ethics and the company’s values.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, best practice and guidelines.
• Familiarity with company supply‑chain procedures.
• High personal standards, initiative and accountability.
• Alignment of individual goals with the broader organisational objectives.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a drive for continuous improvement.
• IT skills covering SAP, MS Office, Vantage and other logistics planning systems.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
