Management Accountant

Thomas Franks is seeking a Management Accountant to join our team at Hook Norton, Oxfordshire.

This role is based in Hook Norton and we are open to part‑time candidates.

• Processing accounting entries on clients’ accounts
• Reconciling accruals and deferral accounts
• Analysing variances and performance of client accounts, drawing insight and discussing with Operations teams
• Supporting operations on financial analysis required on an ad‑hoc basis
• Acting as a direct point of contact for our clients’ finance teams
• Raising sales invoices and distributing to operations and client
• Managing client accounts
• Monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Involvement in budget setting and analysis to support the team
• Cash and banking reconciliations
• Overhead analysis
• Supporting other areas of the finance department such as accounts payables and sales ledger
• Other ad‑hoc duties to support team objectives

• Ability to work on your own initiative and well within a team
• Engage effectively with others in a professional, unbiased and discreet manner
• Attention to detail, work under pressure, and excellent communication skills (both verbal and non‑verbal)
• Reliability, honesty, loyalty and self‑motivation
• Competent PC user – MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ambition to develop and improve skills and knowledge
• Willingness to learn new skills and responsibilities

• Part‑qualified or qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Microsoft Business Central experience (ideal but not essential)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
