THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will play a key role in accurately assessing vehicle damage, preparing estimates and supporting the repair process from initial assessment through to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

· Producing accurate estimates and invoices within agreed repair timescales

· Assessing vehicle damage and determining appropriate repair methods

· Managing repair costs and supporting site profitability

· Handling total loss assessments where required

· Reviewing repair methodologies to ensure appropriate repair processes are followed

· Ensuring all estimates and repairs comply with BS10125 standards

· Liaising with customers, insurers and internal teams throughout the repair process

· Identifying and reporting issues that could affect quality, costs or profitability
 
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have:

· Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, Vehicle Estimator or Automotive Estimator

· Strong technical knowledge of vehicle body and paint repair

· Experience producing accurate vehicle repair estimates

· Confident using Audatex and Glassmatix

· Experience with E-scribe, Ezi Methods and Glass's Evaluator desirable

· Audatex Gold training or equivalent experience

· ATA accreditation desirable, or willingness to achieve it

· Excellent organisational and time-management skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills

· Positive, solutions-focused attitude

· Ability to work effectively as part of a team
