Airplay is the RAF Benevolent Fund's flagship youth support programme. Delivered by YMCA at 23 RAF stations across the UK, Airplay clubs offer activities and creative sessions for children and young people aged 5 to 18. We are looking for enthusiastic, positive casual staff to join our Airplay team at RAF Odiham and help create welcoming, energetic sessions that young people enjoy returning to.
Responsibilities- Lead and facilitate fun, safe and inclusive activities for children and young people aged 5‑18.
- Prepare session materials and set up the environment to promote confidence and creativity.
- Engage participants, encourage participation and create a positive, supportive atmosphere.
- Work collaboratively with team members and Club Coordinators to ensure smooth operation of each session.
- Maintain accurate session logs and provide feedback to the Airplay team.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, with additional sessions during school holidays. Shifts normally last 2‑3 hours, with potential for multiple sessions each week or longer evenings depending on demand. Opportunities may arise to support sessions at nearby Airplay locations.
Qualifications• Right to work in the UK – we are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
• Basic or Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check may be required following a conditional job offer.
• Prior experience working with children or young people is valued but not mandatory.
