Finance Manager - Accountant; Part time

Position: Finance Manager - Accountant (Part time)
Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Finance Manager - Accountant to work for a lovely company based in Hook area. The Finance Manager role will be working on a part time basis 2 days a week. This is a great varied accounting and finance management type role working closely with the Directors.

Hours:

Part time 2 days a week

Salary: £50-55K (pro rata salary £20-22K for the 2 days)

Finance Manager - Accountant duties:

Oversee financial operations, including bookkeeping, management accounting, and reporting
Prepare quarterly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, balance sheet and variance analysis
Develop and monitor project and support contract budgets, KPIs to support performance and profitability
Manage cash flow, working capital, and forecasting
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, margins and cost control
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax legislation, and relevant regulations
Oversee the outsourced payroll activities
Improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls

Skills and experience:

Experience of working within an SME type business as a Finance Manager / Financial Controller / Accountant
Good IT skills such as Excel and accounting system experience Quick Books and Sage
Ideally have CIS and VAT knowledge
