F&B Events Manager

The ideal F&B Events Manger will have proven experience in events with a hands‑on approach, a strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and event procedures. They should possess excellent customer service and communication skills, have the physical stamina for heavy lifting and room set‑ups, all while managing multiple tasks under pressure:

  • Work closely with the Events Managers to understand all relevant details and guest expectations for each event, ensuring a seamless handover of information.
  • Lead shifts and actively participate in the setup and Food & Beverage service of events, ensuring that all aspects run smoothly.
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients during events, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Be knowledgeable about F&B procedures, from operational planning to execution alongside the F&B team and ensure that all team members adhere to these standards.
  • Engage in heavy lifting and setting up rooms, including arranging furniture, equipment, and decor to meet event specifications.
  • Conduct monthly department meetings with the wider F&B team to discuss performance, feedback, and strategies for improvement.
  • Schedule F&B Events service staff to forecast and service standards, while maximizing profits.
  • Lead shifts and actively participate in the servicing of events.
