Mildmay Oaks. Compensation: £36,296 - £39,511 per year. Full time, 37.5 hours per week.
Priory Hospital Mildmay Oaks, a specialist in autism and learning disability, invites a Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with 6–12 months post‑registration experience to join our compassionate team.
Responsibilities- Deliver prescribed care to a defined group of patients within approved framework.
- Assess, plan and provide person‑centred nursing care in partnership with patients, families/carers and as the named nurse.
- Observe, assess, evaluate patients’ needs and progress; monitor and review care plans and respond to changes in condition.
- Contribute effectively to multidisciplinary team working, participate in clinical and non‑clinical meetings, and manage nursing priorities through delegation and shift coordination (including acting as nurse in charge when required).
- Maintain professional standards through ongoing development, clinical supervision, reflective practice, and adherence to preceptorship and revalidation requirements.
- Develop positive professional relationships with patients, colleagues and visitors; respond to concerns and complaints.
- Support newly qualified staff through preceptorship and work in accordance with safeguarding policies, the Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, medicines management procedures, organisational policies and the NMC Code of Conduct.
- Minimum 6 months post‑registration experience within Mental Health or Learning Disabilities care environment.
