DescriptionMildmay Oaks is looking to recruit a Security Lead to join the team. This is a part‑time role working 30 hours per week.
Set in a semi‑rural location in Hook, Hampshire, Priory Hospital Mildmay Oaks supports the NHS by providing low secure services and level 2 rehabilitation services for both male and female patients. This includes a specialist learning disability and autism spectrum support.
What you'll be doingYou’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day‑to‑day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
- Assist in management of the relevant security projects/work streams across the Service.
- Assist in ensuring communication of security incidents, near misses, lessons learned and the completion of local action plans.
- Liaise and maintain effective relationships with the Director of Clinical Services, Head of Facilities and Maintenance/Health & Safety Lead regarding both local and national security related issues.

The post holder will have a minimum of two years clinical experience within secure mental health services – They will have knowledge and experience of working within corporate and local policy and procedures, with a sound knowledge of the 3 spheres of security in relation to secure healthcare provision.
