HGV Class 1 Delivery Driver

Location:

Hook, Hampshire (RG29)

Salary: £45,000 per annum, plus overtime (time and a half), night‑away allowance. The total offers a high and achievable OTE.

Role:
The Driver will operate from the main manufacturing hub in Hook, reporting to the Depot Manager and collaborating with the transport team k 10‑hour shifts between 4 am and 7 pm, with regular hours from 6 am to 4 pm; weekends off. Occasional overnight stays may be required (up to two per week) with a fixed night‑away allowance.

Ensure the safe, secure, efficient, and effective delivery of all orders while adhering to all driving compliance standards.

• Deliver and collect Conquip products professionally, efficiently, and punctually.
• Liaise with the Transport Manager to maintain a customer‑focused approach at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the office and customers to ensure or exceed on‑time delivery targets.
• Comply with all relevant legislation, including Tachograph and DSA driving standards.
• Maintain and promote a positive image of the Conquip brand with all customers.
• Ensure the vehicle is well‑maintained and meets all compliance requirements.

• Valid Class 1 driving licence
• Experience with Class 2 licence vehicles advantageous
