The Community Bus was set up in 2013 to provide a supplementary service for Hartley Wintney residents and a more tailored service for those with limited mobility or no other means of accessing the surrounding facilities. It is a 16‑seat minibus with a tail lift suitable for wheelchairs. The service runs daytimes Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays, picking up passengers from Hartley Wintney and surrounding local areas.

We run regular services to Fleet, Reading, Basingstoke, Camberley and The Meadows plus occasional day trips to different locations.

We are currently looking for a driver to cover the full service, working 20 hours per week. The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour, and all staff are eligible to join the company pension scheme. To drive the minibus you must be over 21 years old, hold a D1 category on your full, clean driving licence, and undertake MiDAS training (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme).

The post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check. Providing cover for other service schedules may also be required from time to time, and there may be a requirement for further training.
