Overview
As a Field Service Engineer in the Connectivity section of Platform Services (PSD), you support the Netherlands Armed Forces Integrated Network (NAFIN) and related infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain and manage network equipment and infrastructure.
Perform LAN, WAN and wireless network tasks.
Support lifecycle, migration and replacement projects.
Analyze and resolve network outages and technical issues.
Operate on Defence sites in the Netherlands and occasionally abroad.
Document and report work activities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary IT teams to maintain service continuity.
Plan and schedule Field Service (FS) team tasks.
Qualifications
MBO level with a background in Computer Science, ICT, Telecommunication or similar.
Experience in ICT or network technology.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Willingness to work consignment shifts and occasional travel.
Valid driving licence
B.
Certifications such as NEN
3140 VP, VCA or ESD are desirable.
Familiarity with CCNA Routing & Switching, Extreme Networks Routing & Switching, Cisco Wireless Networking, Nokia DWDM/IP-MPLS or Eaton UPS systems is a plus.

Monthly salary €3,096.00 – €4,289.00 based on a 38‑hour week.
