Job SummaryAs a Field Service Engineer, you will support on‑site commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of PLC, HMI, SCADA, and VFD systems while ensuring installations meet customer specifications and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities- Provide efficient, customer‑focused support during commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of complex control systems.
- Ensure successful on‑site installation and servicing of PLC, HMI, SCADA, and VFD systems.
- Escalate discrepancies related to customer requirements or technical schematics.
- Configure, test, and commission electrical systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and motor controls.
- Calibrate instruments, inspect equipment for quality, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
- Direct on‑site personnel, complete safety documentation, troubleshoot field installations, and ensure compliance with customer regulations.
- Review control panel connections, promote service lines, identify improvements in procedures, and use test equipment to verify instrumentation and system integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Three to seven years of experience in control or electrical field services.
- Experience with PLC, OIT, and SCADA programming and troubleshooting.
- Strong customer focus and communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and solve problems methodically.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools and the ability to install or modify control system wiring.
- Paid Time Off: up to 120 hours in the first year plus 8 paid holidays.
