In Patient Registration South at Children's South Hoover

Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift shift, 8:00 a.m.

- 4:30 p.m.

Responsible for performing multiple customer-focused Access Center tasks (pre-registration verification, pre-admission, limited financial counseling, scheduling and follow up appointments, co-pay collection, collaborate with bed placement coordinators, order entry, account verification and updates, urgent registrations). Responsible for working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical setting. Must be flexible and willing to work in different physical locations and roles as needed to meet customer needs.

Expected to report as needed during periods of inclement weather, disasters, and state's of emergency.

Ability to work independently. Prefer knowledge/exp. with SMS/Invision and one-year previous work experience with automated scheduling and registration applications preferred.

• High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent

• 1 Year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Care Admin - Registration

Children’s of Alabama offsite specialty clinics and surgery center located just off I-459/Acton Road in Hoover, Al.
