Regions is seeking two experienced Business Systems Analysts to support mortgage technology initiatives within the Customer Operations Enablement team. This team manages system enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing support for applications used by the mortgage business.

The ideal candidate will have more than eight years of business analysis experience, with strong exposure to mortgage lending systems. Experience with Empower, a loan origination system, and/or Lend POS is highly preferred. Candidates with comparable mortgage LOS or POS experience will also be considered.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a hybrid work schedule.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for mortgage technology initiatives.
• Partner with mortgage business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and project teams.
• Support enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and changes to mortgage applications.
• Evaluate current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate and support system testing, regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Assist with defect investigation, prioritization, resolution, and validation.
• Support production issues and help determine root causes and appropriate solutions.
• Translate business needs into clear and actionable technical requirements.
• Participate in project meetings, status discussions, walkthroughs, and stakeholder reviews.
• Maintain effective documentation of application functionality, processes, and system changes.

• More than eight years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst.
• Experience supporting mortgage banking, lending, or financial services applications.
• Hands-on experience with a mortgage loan origination system, point-of-sale platform, or comparable lending technology.
• Strong requirements gathering, documentation, process analysis, and testing experience.
• Ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

• Experience with Empower or similar mortgage loan origination systems.
• Experience with Lend POS or comparable mortgage point-of-sale platforms.
• Experience supporting mortgage system upgrades, enhancements, or implementations.
• Knowledge of mortgage origination and servicing processes.
• Experience with UAT coordination, defect management, and release validation.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
  
  Business analysis, mortgage, or technology-related certifications are a plus but are not required.
