A Day in the Life of an Outside Sales Representative / Home Evaluator
- Wake up excited to meet new clients and work on prospective business deals.
- Internally schedule appointments and perform prompt follow‑up.
- Build rapport with residential customers through networking.
- Survey, estimate, and counsel clients on pest control options.
- Perform home evaluations, including in crawl spaces such as attics.
- Use sales skills to offer solutions, recommend services, and explain benefits honestly, clearly, and accurately.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude to achieve success with inspections and new customer acquisition.
Qualifications for an Outside Sales Representative / Home Evaluator
- Valid driver’s license
- Physical ability to be on your feet and maneuver in crawl spaces in various weather conditions
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling services
- Basic math skills
