School Age Teachers / Bus Drivers (Full-time or Part-time)

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking dedicated School Age Teachers and Bus Drivers for full-time or part-time positions. Join our family and make a lasting impact on children’s futures.

Base pay: $14.00-$17.00 per hour. Candidates with advanced education and experience in early childhood education may qualify for higher pay within the range. Regular increases are considered with additional education, stellar performance, and years of service.

• Implement our award-winning curriculum in a way that meets each child's unique learning style.
• Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Document and share with families the important milestones in a child's day using our app.
• Encourage and model social behavior and expectations that are developmentally appropriate.

• Safely transport children to/from elementary schools and field trips in a small bus.
• Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment.
• Complete safety checks and drills.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to drive a 14-passenger mini bus (no CDL required).
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, and work while standing.
• Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• BSAC training required.
• Previous experience as a teacher at a licensed childcare center required.
