Parts And Service Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Generates sales quotes to customers for equipment & generator parts, service, rentals, and rebuilds on Taylor Forklifts & all generator makes and models.
• Quotes services in the field and works with all customer relations.
• Develop new customers in assigned territory while maintaining current accounts.
• Attend industry trade shows and conferences to strengthen the company brand and develop customer relationships.
• Create and implement strategies for equipment & generator service and rental growth.
• Work closely with the Taylor Power System sales rep to develop relationships with their customers to gain service opportunities.
• Collaborate with other PSSR in NC for regional customer and business growth strategies unique to the territory customer base.
• Provide a detailed call report to the Sudden Service Manager weekly to discuss customer concerns and demands in the field.
• Maintain and submit accurate and timely expense reports to the North Carolina Sudden Service Center Manager.
• Maintain and build customer business across the North Carolina Central to Western North Carolina territory.

• Basic knowledge of computers
• Excellent communication skills
• Possess tact and diplomacy with customer base and peers
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record; employee will drive a company vehicle and be covered under corporate insurance with standard coverage requirements
• Willingness to stay overnight at out-of-town locations when required

• High School Education or GED equivalent
• Sales Parts/Service experience required
