Accounting Supervisor Position Description

Hope, Arkansas | Onsite, Monday - Friday

Reports To: Controller

Our Client is seeking a hands‑on Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations and partner with their Controller. You will lead the accounting staff, manage month‑end close, oversee inventory reconciliations, and support payroll, audits, and tax reporting.

• Team Leadership:
  Supervise staff, answer technical questions, and guide workflow
• Financial Close:
  Prepare and review journal entries, conduct inventory counts/reconciliations, and generate month‑end reports.
• Tax & Compliance:
  Prepare sales & use tax returns, enforce internal controls, and maintain strict data confidentiality.
• Process Improvement:
  Analyze financial options, assist with corporate accounting initiatives, and lead special projects.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of accounting experience with direct reports.
• Proven financial reporting skills, detail orientation, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred:

• CPA/CMA license (or eligibility to sit for exams).
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP software.

• Base salary up to $100,000 - commensurate with extent of relevant experience
• Bonus of 40%
