Accounting Supervisor

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to join a well-established manufacturing organization in Hope, Arkansas. This individual will oversee daily accounting operations, supervise a team of four employees, and work closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient accounting processes.

• Oversee daily accounting operations and supervise a team of four accounting professionals.
• Manage month-end closing activities, including inventory counts and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, financial reports, and sales and use tax returns.
• Analyze financial transactions to ensure accuracy and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support payroll activities, audits, and corporate accounting initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with plant management and corporate leadership on accounting projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
• 2+ years of professional accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on-site in Hope, Arkansas.

• Accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• CPA or CMA certification, or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar accounting software.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience identifying and implementing accounting process improvements.
