• Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders and ensuring all products meet company and legal standards.
• Counsel customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, providing clear and accurate information during new therapy counseling.
• Maintain confidential information, documentation, and assigned records, ensuring compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Administer immunizations and other screening and wellness programs developed by Walmart, in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations.
• Ensure patient safety and accuracy by creating a culture of quality patient care, enforcing standard operating procedures (SOP), and holding others accountable for quality and safety goals.
• Analyze and identify opportunities for improvement and implement intervention steps to improve team knowledge and patient safety.
• Provide business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, identifying needs, monitoring progress, and recognizing improvement opportunities.
• Model and provide guidance to associates on proper customer service approaches, including techniques for handling concerns within company guidelines and standards.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas, implementing and monitoring safety controls, overseeing quality assurance reviews, and guiding program execution.
• Support the development and execution of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in best practice application.
• Maintain confidential information and documentation required by company policy and local and federal guidelines.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm
  
  D, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
• Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
• Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).

• Experience in community outreach and wellness events.
• Experience in inventory control and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Experience modeling compliance and conducting audits.
