As a Radiology Technologist, you will operate radiologic equipment to produce radiographs, prepare patients for procedures, adjust positioning and exposure factors, and collaborate with radiologists during imaging sessions.
Responsibilities- Maintain production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures.
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
- Review each exam for technical accuracy and identify anatomical orientation on all images.
- Assist the radiologist in administering medications, contrast agents and all types of care to the patient.
- Participate in emergency call rotation to meet department needs.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- ARRT-R (Registered Radiologic Technologist) credential.
- Vocational school graduate.
- Work experience in lieu of degree.
