Behavior Technician (ABA Therapy) – Hopewell, VA

Base Pay Range: $22.00/hr - $25.00/hr

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Monday–Friday (Weekends as needed)

Up to 25% within the Hopewell area

• Work one‑on‑one with children in home, school, or community settings
• Implement skill‑building and behavior‑reduction plans designed by a BCBA
• Use play‑based, child‑led approaches to make therapy fun and engaging
• Collect data on client progress and complete session documentation
• Collaborate with supervisors, parents, and team members
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment

• High school diploma (required);
  Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred)
• Completion of 40‑hour RBT training (or willingness to complete before starting, provided by Galaxy ABA)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to engage in active play, lift up to 40 lbs, and ensure client safety
• Ability to pass background checks (FBI, CPS, State of VA) and provide CPR, HIPAA, and TB clearance (support provided)
• Prior ABA, childcare, or behavioral health experience is a plus—training is provided for the right candidate
