How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requests for assistance, visitor concerns, and facility-related disruptions.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures and healthcare facility requirements.
Document observations, incidents, and actions taken through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Be willing to work in a hospital morgue.
Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
Possess at least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
