Accounts Payable Specialist-Contract to Hire
- Pay up to $28/HR (DOE)

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday:
  In office, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Friday:
  Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices, credit memos, and employee expense reports
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, past-due invoices, and statement balance issues
• Support vendors and internal stakeholders with payment and account inquiries
• Review vendor aging reports and monitor account balances
• Generate and review payment runs, including ACH and wire payments
• Process voids, stop payments, and positive pay exceptions
• Set up and maintain vendor records
• Verify vendor information, including W-8 and W-9 documentation
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Assist with special projects and additional accounting support as needed

What They're Looking For:

• 1+ years of Accounts Payable or invoice processing experience
• Experience working within accounting systems and Excel
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• SAP experience is a plus
