Regional Application Engineering Leader – Dielectric Fluids – Remote (open to remote; U.S.

Location:
Fully remote; no specific location. This role requires travel up to 50% for customer visits.
Our Food and Bioindustrial business supports manufacturers, retailers, and food service companies with consistent product delivery, technical expertise, and innovative solutions. As a Regional Application Engineering Leader – Dielectric Fluids
, you will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on the application and performance of FR3TM fluid and other insulating liquids used in electrical transformers. You’ll collaborate with regional commercial teams, support manufacturers and end-users, deliver technical training, and represent the company at industry events.
This is a remote U.S.
-based role, with up to 50% travel for customer engagements.
- Build and maintain effective technical relationships with customers to retain and grow business.
- Deliver training and technical support to end-users and transformer manufacturers.
- Respond to technical inquiries and support commercial teams via email, calls, and meetings.
- Leverage deep knowledge in insulating fluids to solve customer challenges and support new product development.
- Lead and support regional technology projects and innovation initiatives.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and through white papers or presentations.
- Identify opportunities for product enhancement and drive regional technical strategies.
- Handle complex issues independently, escalating only when necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
- 4+ years of related experience in a technical, engineering, or product support role.
- Solid understanding of insulating liquids in transformers (mineral oil and/or FR3 fluid).
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- bilingual in Spanish (oral and written) is a plus.
- Experience in distribution or power transformer design or manufacturing.
- Previous roles in customer support, product management, or project management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, cross-functional environment.
Up to 50% travel for customer engagements.
