Associate Attorney

Job Description

We’re a dynamic, plaintiff-focused personal injury firm seeking a litigation associate who is passionate about standing up for injured clients and eager to try cases. This is an on-site role offering active files, meaningful client contact, and the chance to grow into a long-term leadership position within the firm.

The ideal candidate has strong courtroom instincts, outstanding people skills, and the drive to build and maintain trusted client relationships.

• Manage a caseload of personal injury files from pre-suit through trial
• Conduct and defend depositions, including treating providers, experts, and parties
• Argue motions, attend arbitrations and mediations, and participate in trials
• Communicate regularly and clearly with clients, keeping them informed and confident
• Develop referrals and business opportunities through client relationships and community presence
• Work collaboratively with the litigation team on strategy and case preparation

• Minimum 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation (plaintiff or defense)
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Minnesota
• Excellent oral advocacy and legal writing skills
• Proven success in No-Fault arbitrations, discovery practice, and pretrial litigation
• Strong interpersonal skills — able to build rapport and communicate with clients from all walks of life
• Interest in long-term growth with a trial-oriented, client-first practice
