• Provide excellent customer service to generate sales gains and meet or exceed company objectives.
• Document and provide feedback on associate sales performance, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
• Adhere to visual merchandising guidelines, including proper signage, store cleanliness, and merchandising standards.
• Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the company dress code policy.
• Protect company assets by following Lids retail policies, and perform accurate inventory management (receiving, transferring, pricing, counting).
• Support wage control by assisting in the preparation of store schedules and ensuring proper coverage.
• Open and close the store in accordance with the Operations P&P Manual.
• Supervise associates: recruit, train, and encourage compliance with policies; communicate with employees at all levels; perform supervisory duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus one year of relative experience.
• Demonstrated ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and clear verbal communication.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb a ladder, and work with hands overhead.
• Standing required for up to 100% of the work time; ability to work unsupervised.

• Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience; compensation may vary by skill, experience, and location.
• Assistant Store Manager part‑time positions available for monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount.
