Where We Are Hiring

We are hiring an
Accountant
to join our corporate accounting team in either
Marshall, MN or Hopkins, MN.

What You Will Do:
  • Assist with monthly financial close which includes completing accounting accruals, analyzing income and expense
    -related accounts, preparing financial statements, schedules and reports.
  • Complete projects associated with driving business results.
  • Occasionally assist with month-end closing issues, best practices, inter­company transactions, and typical or non‑critical accounting issues.
  • Prepare schedules and analysis for internal and external use as required.
  • Prepare and analyze management reports including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements.
  • Review business unit practices to ensure compliance with corporate policies and guidelines.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of the journal entries and account classifications.
  • Apply and interpret generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Assist in the preparation or gathering of schedules for independent auditors as required.
What You Will Bring:
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 0-3 years accounting or related experience.
  • Basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Self‑motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication and ability to build strong relationships within the team and business.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
What We Offer:

The base salary range for this position is $52,500 to $87,500 annually with eligibility for a 5% annual incentive bonus that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Typically 0-3 years related experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of multiple areas with the enterprise, i.e. supply chain, facilities inventoryplanning, operations, distribution, transportation and procurement. Moderate PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). Effective use of reading, writing, oral communication skills, presentation and project management techniques. Knowledge of and experience working in a formalized project management environment. Knowledge of project management methodologies, from initial justification through implementation and evaluation.

Ability to develop and monitor project schedules and timelines to identify and meet critical milestones. Highly analytical. Problem solving, negotiation and facilitation skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work effectively within team setting. Ability to work independently with general supervision.
