Horizon Allied Services Mining is dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure working environment for all our employees. We are currently seeking aSecurity Managerto lead our security operations at the mining site in Shidan, Somalia.

Job Summary TheSecurity Managerwill develop and implement effective security strategies, conduct risk assessments, and manage the security team to protect our operations and personnel in Shidan, Somalia. This role is critical in safeguarding HASM's assets and ensuring the safety of all staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security protocols to protect HASM's assets.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Manage and train the security team to ensure readiness and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
• Respond to and manage security incidents and emergencies.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of security management experience within the mining industry, preferably in East Africa.
• Strong leadership and crisis management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of security protocols and safety regulations.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
