About Horizon Allied Services Mining (HASM)
HASM is committed to efficient and safe resource extraction. We are looking for experienced Excavator Operators to join our mining project in Shidan, Somalia, and contribute to our goal of becoming a global leader in responsible mining.
Job SummaryThe Excavator Operator will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move materials in a safe and efficient manner. This role is vital to the success of our mining operations in Shidan, Somalia.
Key Responsibilities- Operate excavators and other heavy machinery to excavate, clear, and move materials.
- Follow project requirements and safety protocols during operations.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of equipment.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy machinery in the mining industry, particularly in East Africa.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and machinery maintenance.
- Ability to work in challenging environmental conditions.
- Certification in heavy machinery operation or equivalent experience.
