Job Summary We are looking for aMechanicto join our team in Shidan, Somalia. The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles and heavy machinery used in our mining operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical maintenance within the mining sector in East Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues in vehicles and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain records of all maintenance work conducted.
• Order and replace parts as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during repair and maintenance work.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in vehicle and machinery maintenance within the mining industry, preferably in East Africa.
• Strong mechanical skills and experience with heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of safety standards and protocols.

• Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
