Blue Horizon Energy is seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our high-performing construction team. You'll play a crucial role in delivering cutting-edge solar energy, battery storage, and EV charging projects across Minnesota and beyond. As a Journeyman Electrician, you'll lead project-level electrical construction work alongside apprentices and other tradespeople, helping us build sustainable, high-performance systems for commercial, industrial, and utility clients. Travel is a part of this role-ideal candidates should be comfortable working on projects across state lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform electrical construction for solar, battery, and EV projects.
• Supervise apprentices and technicians on-site.
• Interpret electrical blueprints, single-line diagrams, and site plans.
• Ensure work complies with NEC code and safety standards.
• Utilize hand and power tools for various construction tasks.
• Coordinate with project teams to meet deadlines and quality goals.
• Travel to project sites as needed (company-provided per diem and travel support).

Qualifications

• Valid Minnesota Journeyman Electrician License (Master license welcome).
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial/industrial electrical work.
• Knowledge of NEC code and electrical safety best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and electrical diagrams.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and related equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to travel.
• Solar experience is preferred, but not required.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 5x8, 4x10, or 4x12 schedule
• Overtime available
• Full-time, year-round employment
