Mission:As an Engineering Intern at Metalsa, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside Controls and Reliability Engineers. This role provides exposure to real-world projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll assist in improving processes, supporting various engineering functions, and contributing to special initiatives that drive productivity and innovation.

Position Title:
Controls Engineering Intern

Key Responsibilities:

• Support systems and process controls by managing documentation of projects and standard work instructions.
• Assist Controls engineers on projects & improvements
• Support the team with tasks like quoting, implementing, purchasing and launching processes, while providing shop floor assistance.
• Collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed, with duties evolving as the department's needs change.

Academic requirement

• Currently Enrolled in a bachelor's degree in engineering/engineering technology, especially those studying Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical, or similar fields.
• Open to students in their Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior year.
