Location:

To assist licensed personnel in the delivery of quality patient care.

• Assist the nurse or physician with patient care and documentation in accordance with the scope of Certified Nurse Aide scope of practice.
• Provide assistance or complete care with personal hygiene, skin care and mobilization for patients.
• Transport patients within the ED and to other departments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
• Successful completion of Nurse Aide course or the equivalent.
• Certified Nurse Aide from the state of Kentucky.
• BLS certification – American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider) required, must be current.
• Phlebotomy skills preferred.

Required Experience

• Certified Nurse Aide experience preferred.
