Position Type: PRN

• Perform specialized and difficult diagnostic imaging examinations using ionizing radiation, magnetic fields, radio frequencies, radiopharmaceuticals, or high frequency sound waves.
• Operate and maintain imaging modalities including Vascular Ultrasonography, Nuclear Medicine, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computed Tomography, and Mammography.
• Perform Holter monitor placement, electrocardiograms, injection procedures, and IV contrast administration.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and compliance with HIPAA and modality‑specific protocols.
• Document procedures accurately in electronic health records and PACS.
• Conduct quality control, calibration, and equipment maintenance in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with radiologists, ordering providers, and clinical staff to clarify orders and communicate findings.
• Participate in orientation, training, and team activities; maintain a positive customer service environment.

• Current registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) for Vascular Ultrasound (RVT or VS).
• Minimum of three imaging modalities with valid registrations (MRI, CT, Mammography) or be board‑eligible for a third.
• Current registration in Nuclear Medicine from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT.
• Valid Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy license and Basic Life Support certification.
• Graduate of an approved school of Ultrasonography or Radiologic Technology with cross‑training in the required modalities.
• Minimum of two years experience in Nuclear Medicine and preferred vascular ultrasonography experience.
• Proficient with Paragon Radiology Management, PACS, and related software.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, modality physics, infection control, and emergency care.
