Job Summary

As the Assistant General Manager, you will maintain a high‑energy, positive environment, foster client‑centric service, and drive store performance. You will manage and supervise tanning consultants, support the Salon Director, and lead by example to deliver exceptional client experiences.

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast‑paced environment.
• Lead by example in all company operations, including creating a client‑centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for team members, and provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling top‑line revenue and expenses.
• Help maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and excellent customer service while controlling labor costs.
• Work nights, Saturdays, and Sundays as required to provide management coverage.
• Provide reliable transportation for bank visits as needed.
• Expect a 40‑to‑45‑hour work week, five days per week, depending on hourly or salary status.

• College education preferred, not required.
• Management and/or sales experience required.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
• Team‑building skills and ability to prioritize and delegate.
• Knowledge of client‑service techniques and operational practices.

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to bend at the waist, lift, and assist heavy items.
• Ability to perform salon cleaning functions (dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing).

Salary
: $17.00–$21.00 per hour (plus performance bonuses, manager bonuses, and free tanning).
