Operations Manager

Compensation: $65,000+ annually, depending on experience

Cayce Mill Supply is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and elevate our warehouse and logistics operations at our Hopkinsville, KY corporate location. This high-impact leadership role is responsible for driving efficiency, supporting our teams, and ensuring exceptional service to our customers.

• Lead and coordinate all warehouse and logistics functions to ensure efficient, effective, and customer‑focused operations.
• Oversee inbound/outbound inventory, approve adjustments, and manage cycle counts.
• Review internal and external logistics processes to optimize order fulfillment from start to finish.
• Analyze performance metrics to drive productivity improvements and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Immerse yourself in daily operations to collaborate with the team on process improvement initiatives.
• Assess staffing needs, manage labor budgets, and monitor overtime.
• Develop and manage the annual operational budget for the Hopkinsville Distribution Center.
• Coach, train, and develop team members; participate in hiring and workforce planning.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, fleet operations, facility management, and security.
• Coordinate facility maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and other tasks essential to successful operations.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a department head or managing a team of 15+ employees.
• Strong leadership abilities with proven success in planning, delegation, and team development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
